Welcome to the Blog of Yologa12!

I just want to share with everyone this super cool site to play Minecraft for free. I wish for everyone to enjoy a free game of Minecraft and build wonderful things.

Today I stumbled upon an unknown object. It seems to be black of color with little dabs of orange. I wonder what it could be? Perhaps I'll use this object to build something grand. Only time will tell...

When I was a kid, all I ever wanted was a Super Nintendo. I remember I was so happy when my parents bought it for me and my sibling. We would spend hours playing Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Donkey Kong, and Super Mario Brothers. However, once I got into middle school, I started getting bored of it.

Starcraft

My cousin bought over Starcraft and I thought it was the funnest game I ever played. Mainly because of the online pvp(player verse player) aspect. It's a lot more challenging and gratifying to defeat a human opponent rather than a computer. Also there were so many different maps and each one required a different strategy. I remember it was a common belief that Terran was the strongest of the 3 races in Starcraft. I thought so too, for popular maps like BGH, but I found them to be rather boring. Most Terran players just box themselves in while they build their infantry and siege tanks, which is the strongest early defense. After the tanks are made, they do a tank push with infantry units to protect the tanks and kill air units. Terran are pretty good at killing Zerg units. Protoss are a bit tougher to kill because they have more HP but they still fall to a tank push early game. Vultures and spider mines are so cheap to build and make Zealots fall like flies. Also bringing a few SCVs to repair the tanks and build bunkers in the enemy base is quite effective. This is great offense at the same time having great defense because of the boxing in structure while continually pumping out units. Actually now that I think about it, Terran does sound fun. I don't know. Maybe I just like doing riskier things. I like doing fast tech rushes with Zerg. Their defense is so poor. If I get hit early on, I'm pretty much dead. I upgrade burrow early and send out zerglings to scout the enemy. I usually burrow one inside the base and at the entrance. It's a good way to know when and what you are going to get attacked with. My favorite thing to do with Terran is a fast drop with hydras and lings to the command center accompanied with a queen. Since most Terran players box themselves in at the entrance, they need to spend a bit of time moving their units to the CC. By then it's too late and the queen already infested the cc. Get as many SCVs as I can and then pull the overlords back. Their economy is pretty much f-ed up so I just like do annoying things. One of the things I do is have a decoy army. Terrans always do a scan so I hide my real army off to the side of the base. I also bunch up the overlords to hide my tech buildings and the real army. Ok that's enough talk about old strats.

I'm not even good at SC anymore, this was ages ago. SC2 came out already and I actually bought it but too scared to learn. Everyone starts off as a noob and dies a lot in the beginning. I just want to pwn straight off the bat.

Warcraft 3

It was similar to Starcraft, a RTS (real time strategy) game. I'm not even going to bother talking about strats here. It would be too much. I'm just going to say that I played ladder until I was at level 20 and moved on to UMS(used map settings) games. Dota is the best UMS game ever created. Pudge wars is also very fun but there's nothing like Dota. I played Dota when everything was all ugly looking. Like the trees in the forest were crooked and the map was kind of like a V shape. Moonrider had the ult that dealt 3000 damage, a 1 hit death.  Morphling had a ridiculous heal, pudge had flies, and stealth assasin had death ward. Pretty funny and imbalanced back then. I actually played a game with Icefrog who was the map creator at the time. To my suprise, he wasn't as good as I thought he was. Don't get me wrong. He had a 1:1 KD ratio. He didn't suck but I just thought he would be super pro since he is the creator. That was the first and last time. All the other times I ran into people with spoofed names of Icefrog. Oh well.

Another UMS game that is fun is a modded version of Dota called OMG. Everyone takes turns to choose their abilities. You can get some pretty OP skills like blink, stomp, the passive+1 str per kill, and an aoe ult like ravage. Lots of fun times. I was so addicted to WC that I had dreams about it in class. I would pull an all nighter for exams because I played games until midnight. I had a dream about the Farseer Wolf running over a bridge and peons chopping trees. Lol.

World of Warcraft

All my gaming buddies stopped playing WC3 and moved on to WoW. I didn't really like WoW at first. It's kind of like Diablo. The more time you spend playing, the better items you have, the easier it is to kill. So you win by spending more time instead of having actual skill. I got bored playing with pubs and my brother got 6 months worth of WoW on his account. He wasn't playing it at the time so I gave it a try. Turned out be very addicting. I spent 10 hours a day questing and leveling up with my friends. I have to say WoW destroyed a lot of people's lives. My friend's roommate dropped out of college and lost his job because he was busy raiding with his guild. My friend also dropped out of college because his roomate couldn't pay rent so he couldn't afford school anymore. I also failed all of my classes for one quarter. I was busy drawing pictures my warlock and druid instead of taking notes. I stopped hanging out  with my friends in real life because we would just hang out in Orgimmar instead. Literally. We sat on top of the building together in a circle while waiting for AV to start. Failed classes, lost jobs, stopped going out, and forgetting to eat and drink. I remember eating just once a day. Everyone lost weight lol. After the 6 months subscription ended, I quit for good.

Heroes of Newerth

Dota with better graphics. There were some of the same heroes but many of my favorites were missing, still fun nevertheless. I remember when I first played it. I didn't know what on earth was going on. The game is almost the same as Dota but it was so hard to play for some reason. I remember not being able to see who the enemy players were. They all looked the same. I would always waste my WS stun when allies came to my lanes to help. I got freaked out in team fights and never knew what was happening. There would be a bunch of colorful blasts everywhere and I die. I don't even know who killed me or how I died. It took me a while to get used to the graphics and finally get good. I have to say the HON community is not very friendly. I was a noob during beta so I didn't get that much hate. But now, there is so much trash talking. I feel bad for people who just started out. Even in no stats games, there is still trash talk. I try to help the noobs most of the time. Giving them constructive criticism with strategy, when and how to use their skill, and what items to buy. That's only if I see they want to learn. There are noobs that don't listen then make asshole remarks and end up dying. I don't know... the community isn't that great and maybe that's part of the reason why League of Legends is more popular. League of Legends is also free, here.

Minecraft

After HON kept crashing on me, I decided to try Minecraft. The great thing about Minecraft for free is that it uses up very little from the computer's resources. Also fun to build things and the monsters are so scary. The only game to ever make my heart race from fear is Resident Evil. But Resident Evil has zombies and of course, zombies are supposed to be scary. These monsters in Minecraft are green blocks but they manage to scare me. It's a trip. Anyways I like how the game developer promoted piracy on his twitter. Another interesting surprise. In the end, I think it's better for sales. There will be a much larger audience since people will be more likely to play it if it's free and buy it if they like it. A much better marketing strategy then wasting millions on ads and then paying millions for lobbyists to promote laws to censor the internet. The downloadable Minecraft free demo is also free.
